RSS Feed Content in Broadcasts

IMO MailChimp does an ok job at it, but I prefer the simplicity of other providers like MadMimi or Mailerlite or ConvertKit, where you can simply add a "RSS block" into the email design and then click on the block for options (number of feed items, display options for image/title/excerpt). Another great feature most providers have is that it can be configured to send only when a new feed item is detected (useful for blogs to "set and forget" this as a weekly newsletter that automatically pulls the new feed items and sends it out to subs, so new content is automatically promoted)... Really need this feature. I haven't checked the pabbly idea yet, but also unsure if the cost is feasible at scale.

RSS Campaigns are vital. Mailchimp does a great job. We created a plugin that has over 30K active installs, we know RSS very well. (https://wordpress.org/plugins/featured-images-for-rss-feeds/)

EmailDelivery.com: My experience is that Mailchimp has a good level of flexibility when it comes to including RSS content in a campaign. Their merge tags for RSS feeds allows custom sections for RSS content to be added to a newsletter. This means you have more control over the layout of each RSS item, etc. Here's an example:
