SSL instructions for SMTP Relay

We noticed the SSL documentation for ZeroSSL only applies to for HTTPS and not for SMTP. We need to apply the SSL certificate also to the SMTP separately. Ideally this either needs to be documented or applied automatically via a script.
Furthurmore, Cloudflare SSL is not an option if you need SSL for SMTP API. This is important if you want to send transactional emails through the SMTP Relay API with TLS and port 587.

EmailDelivery.com: This issue can be eliminated when setting up the ESP server script, which should force the admin to use HTTPS UI with Self-signed SSL unless the user is not interested in installing Lets Encrypt SSL (HTTP/DNS). This process will continue to run UI and SMTP Relay, API server run with Self-signed SSL by default with a warning that SMTP Relay, API may not work until admin configures a proper SSL.
Another option can be to let the admin user add SSL from UI by uploading/importing SSL Certs and Keys and have the opportunity to tag them with SMTP Relay or API of ESP server.

Aman: Andrew G For clarity to everyone: we do ship with a self-signed certificate for SMTP. We just haven't given a method yet for using your own certificate. This is a bad idea for HTTP for multiple reasons, and the processes we use have solid underlying logic behind them and also factor in direct experience gained by working with many customers. Eventually, we will move to everything being done through the UI, all the product decisions are based on time management and prioritization. For instance, if there is already a way to accomplish a task, even though it's imperfect, that gets prioritized way behind something that doesn't exist at all in the product yet. Any suggestions related to "this should be in the UI" - we know, we're already a giant feature factory with an unbelievable amount of stuff in one product, we'll get there someday.
